Bespoke furniture begins long before the workshop: with a survey of every wall, a design drawn on your property’s real floor plan, and a rendering that shows the finished room before a single panel is made.

Design is the service through which we take hoteliers, B&Bs and agriturismi from the first idea to the final specification. It’s included in the supply process: when the people who design also produce, they can design without compromise.

The site visit and the measurement survey

Every project starts on site. We survey the real measurements of rooms, bathrooms and common areas, including the irregularities that land registry plans never show: out-of-square walls, dropped ceilings, columns, services. That’s why the furniture arrives on site already right, with no improvised adjustments during installation.

The design and the 3D rendering

Based on the survey, we develop the complete furniture design: the layout of the space, the sizing of beds, wardrobes and desks, and the choice of coordinated materials and finishes. The photorealistic 3D rendering shows the finished room before production starts: you assess it, adjust it and approve it by looking at the result, not by imagining it. We go into more detail in our guide on 3D rendering for hotel furniture.

From design to production

The approved design becomes a technical specification and passes straight to our production: one team in charge, one point of responsibility, from drawing to final testing. We’ve worked this way for over fifty years, from design to hotel.

Why bespoke design pays off

  • Every centimetre earns its keep: the furniture makes use of alcoves, window recesses and irregular walls that catalogue furniture wastes.
  • A single point of contact: the people who design, produce and install all answer to one contact, so responsibility never gets lost.
  • Regulations built in from the drawing board: Class 1IM fire-rated materials and accessibility requirements are part of the design, not added afterwards.
  • Budget under control: the specification sets out costs and timings before production begins, with no surprises on site.

The design is best judged in person: the site visit is free of charge, worldwide.
